Diet Smarter was started by individuals who are fitness conscious, but not necessarily fitness zealots. Our interests are sports, yoga, and nutrition – balancing fitness and a healthful lifestyle with family, work, and fun.
I first was exposed to health and fitness by my family, primarily my grandfather. He lived to the age of 96, and lived a strong healthy life until that time. He was both a professional boxer, and a personal trainer to athletes of all kinds. And, although he was an athlete in extremely good shape he still managed to enjoy foods of all types, did not exercise strenuously, and had a happy balanced life. This seemed contrary to the teachings of so many fitness and nutrition experts today. So much so, that I decided to take what I learned from my grandfather, and family, and compare with publications and expert advice sold online, on TV, and in books. What I find I share here at Diet Smarter.
Many weight loss programs, diet products, and weight loss nutrition sold today are very practical, and are very safe to use. We try to review each diet product objectively, and advise on usage to optimize (and even accelerate) your current diet regimen to achieve your own goals. Therefore, working smarter not harder. However, we are not physicians or licensed dietitians. Realize it’s with great care and honesty we present these reviews and advice. But, be safe and consult your personal physician prior to any drastic changes in diet or physical regimen.
