The Acai Berry “Superfood”!

The Acai Berry is a small round berry, resembling a smaller version of a grape.  It is a fruit from the acai palm tree, and has been used by simple Native Americans for over ages.  Lately acai has earned a reputation as a health supplement and weight loss aid.

The highest antioxidant food on the planet, acai has become known as a must have super food for healthy lifestyles.  The acai berry includes a fantastic mix of health-boosting nutrients, most notable antioxidants, and soluble fiber content and monounsaturated fats.

Acai can be a great weight loss aid, although they have many other advantages such as slowing down the aging process as well as aiding cell restoration.  The berry’s natural concoction of essential fatty acids, fiber, phytosterois  and amino acids work together to help your body burn fat more efficiently, process food more quickly and shed the unwanted pounds.

The most convenient, and cheapest, form is in capsules.  Bottled may be the most appetizing form, however is likely the most expensive.  Acai berry purchased in freeze dried form is probably the least appetizing and must be prepared.
